I am Wilma and am the fearless creator of this blog. I am a native from Puerto Rico and a Washingtonian by choice. I love the outdoors, writing, dancing, and cooking I am unapologetically Boricua so I hope you don’t mind my once in a while Wepa post!

I really do not know the answer, but professionally speaking I graduated with a Masters in Human Resources from Webster University and a Bachelors in Education before that. I guess I know a thing or two about people and human relations…

Do I need to say more!

My career took many turns, and finally settled on working on civil rights and social justice. I work closely with both employers and employees solving human relations issues in the work place.

My most important work,however, is my work advocating for my community and mentoring our next generation of Latinx leaders.
